Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Winona, MN 55987

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.

and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 to $18.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 6 - 10 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.
Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology for day‑to‑day work, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.
  • Holiday support:
    Lead up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours. You may be required to work on the holiday itself, which may include the weekend.
  • Department resets:
    Participate in teams responsible for installing and resetting Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodelling assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision:
    Support other merchandising professionals in the Hallmark field organization and help team members in their territories as needed.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also need to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
