OVERVIEWWorking as Full-time Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for inside sales functions by developing marketing and sales proposals, which include project management, technical writing, contract negotiation, review of business terms and facilitating legal reviews. You will collaborate with various internal departments and provide overall customer service to our National Accounts and Government sales teams, customers and store locations. The administration of these accounts is of critical importance and the individual filling this role must maintain a high standard of professionalism and quality.
This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
- Managing proposal projects and coordinating with various departments for project completion
- Performing technical writing for the design and development of proposal responses
- Researching the customer and industry in order to provide customized responses
- Completing various surveys, forms, and certifications
- Communicating with sales personnel regarding contract and proposal review outcomes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing ability such as editing, formatting, and proofreading
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment - Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
- Prior work experience completing proposals
- Possess a degree in Communications, English, or Marketing
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience using collaborative workflow systems such as SharePoint and MS Dynamics CRM

COMPENSATIONThe pay range for this position is $37,800 - 42,600. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
