Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm

Working as Full‑time Benefits Specialist in our Human Resources department, you will perform entry level duties assisting with US and International employee benefits with a specific focus on leave of absence administration. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

• Administering employee requests for family, medical and military leaves of absence by phone and email
• Providing guidance to employees regarding company policies and procedures
• Assisting employees with questions and completion of forms
• Preparing employee communication pieces
• Ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local guidelines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Possess or are working towards a degree in Human Resources or Business
• Prior experience using People Soft HR systems
• Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the position (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, USERRA, COBRA, etc)
• Proficient in a second language

The base pay range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
