Working as Part-time Programmer PT, you will develop, implement, and support systems that are used at Fastenal.

• Working with end users to define and clarify business objectives
• Using development tools to develop, implement, and support our systems
• Interacting with other team members and business users
• Completing tasks on time

• Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or other related field of study
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Experienced with Windows IoT development
