We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for our Winnipeg Distribution Centre. These are unionized part-time opportunities with up to 40 hours a week (overtime may occur). Applicants must be available to work flexible shifts as needed.
LocationOn-site at the Winnipeg Distribution Centre.
What You ll Be Doing- Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labeling product, sorting empties of cans/bottles and crushing cans
- Maintain service quality by following organizational standards
- Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
- Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
- Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
Starting wage is $17.73/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.
