Fuel Truck Driver

Victor Energy Ltd is a powerline contractor with over 30 years of experience building Alberta’s electrical infrastructure, recently acquired by Java Holdings Ltd. Java staff have over 50 years of experience building some of Canada’s largest electrical infrastructure projects. We are seeking a qualified Fuel Truck Driver.

• Completion of pre- and post-trip inspections, logbook, and any required paperwork
• Safe and efficient transportation of fuel from distribution centers to various locations
• Hauling fuel with a F550 truck

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License, with a minimum of five years of off‑road and tanker/fluid driving experience
• Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Knowledge of local roads
• Able to lift 50 lbs and drive on remote roads in winter conditions
• WHMIS Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate, or willingness to obtain them
• TDG Certificate
• First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Being able to complete duties in a timely and effective manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Strong safety awareness and low risk tolerance, and willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Able to work away from home on a 2‑night/7‑shift schedule
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
