General

Summary:

To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to Fed Ex Canada features of service; to provide related customer service functions.

This is an interview position.

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to Fed Ex Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
• One (1) year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Some knowledge of Fed Ex Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.

• Pay:
  Pay transparency details noted in original description; this is a PFT position with shifts Tue–Fri starting at 08:00 am and Sat starting at 07:30 am.
