Position: Service Technician / Journeyman Electrician
Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum dispensing equipment, car wash systems, and related machinery. Comprehensive training will be provided.Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations as per regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s instructions and proceduresAssess, diagnose, consult, source parts, and manage inventory effectively.Work with sub-contractors to complete project tasks for additional disciplines as required (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil)Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with other trades and customers.Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 using proper lifting techniques.Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followedCommit to learning and completing all required safety training and apply to daily duties.Qualifications
Red Seal or Journeyman as Construction ElectricianUnderstanding of various EV charging standards and protocols, such as Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging (Level
3) would be considered an assetHigh energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitudeMust be able to work independently with little supervisionExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsStrong Customer Service ExperienceMust be mechanically inclinedMust be a team player with the ability to multi-taskMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstractMust be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtimeTraining will be providedBilingualism is considered an assetPerks and Benefits:
