Position:Heavy‑Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic – Steinbach, MB
We are growing and looking for a qualified Heavy‑Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team today at our shop in Steinbach, MB.

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial transport trucks and trailers; ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and legislated safety standards.
- Accurately interpret and complete work orders and support apprentices through guidance and knowledge‑sharing as required.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to maximize uptime and availability.
- Inspect and test mechanical units (engines, transmissions, axles, brake systems) to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on truck systems (chassis, frame, cab, engine & drivetrain, air brakes, steering, fuel, hydraulic, electrical, electronic).
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on truck‑trailer and trailer systems (structural, brake, electrical).
- Promote safety and quality; follow all health, safety, environmental policies and procedures.
- Complete related duties as assigned.
- Heavy duty truck & trailer mechanic with minimum 5 years experience.
- CVIP certification.
- Class 1 licence (considered an asset).
- Safety‑first mindset and ability to maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Proven ability to interpret work orders/technical manuals and document repairs & parts accurately.
- Strong diagnostics across truck and trailer systems; capable in scheduled PM and corrective repairs.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and clear communication across teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Ability to pass a company‑paid criminal record check.
