Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Job Title: Security Guard

Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Job Type: Part Time Permanent

Pay Rate: $16.30 - $17.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday (1800 - 0000)

Allied University is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg at the Downtown location (please note there will be no free parking).

• Must have prior security experience in a team environment, and open availability.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 25+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must have Driver's license.
• Must be comfortable with walking for long periods of time.
• Must be comfortable with working in outside elements.

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training.
