Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The position is a full‑time temporary role with pay rate $16.30‑$17.00 per hour.

Pay Rate: $16.30‑$17.00 per hour

Shifts:

• Friday to Tuesday (0700 – 1500)
• Thursday to Monday (1100 – 1900)

Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg at the downtown location (please note there will be no free parking).

• Must have prior security experience in a team environment and open availability.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note‑taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 25+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with walking for long periods of time.
• Comfortable with working in outdoor elements.

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer‑friendly image at all times.
• Ensure the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site‑specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision‑making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Maintain meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment and complete required training.
