Job DescriptionAllied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The position is a full‑time temporary role with pay rate $16.30‑$17.00 per hour.

Pay Rate: $16.30‑$17.00 per hour
Shifts:
- Friday to Tuesday (0700 – 1500)
- Thursday to Monday (1100 – 1900)
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg at the downtown location (please note there will be no free parking).
- Must have prior security experience in a team environment and open availability.
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
- Experience with report writing and note‑taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid security guard license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must be at least 25+ years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Comfortable with walking for long periods of time.
- Comfortable with working in outdoor elements.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Present a polished, professional, customer‑friendly image at all times.
- Ensure the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
- Undertake site‑specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision‑making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
- Maintain meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Operate/monitor security room equipment and complete required training.
