Automation Sales Representative

The Inside Automation Sales/Quotations Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients in the automation, Drives, SCADA, and Instrumentation products sector. This role involves direct interaction with customers through various communication channels, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.

• Inside Sales, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Service skills
• Experience in Lead Generation and Account Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical background or understanding of industrial automation is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Customer interaction via telephone, email, and web; respond and provide solutions to customers promptly
• Provide immediate customer support to meet their needs; quotations, technical research, literature requests, manufacturer interaction, proposals, and expediting
• Escalate backorders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations
• Provide technical feedback and design solutions to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with a team engineers/designers to assist in project solutions
• Interact with manufacturing partners and build sustainable relationships

• Technically proficient; electrically and/or mechanically
• Diploma in a related field or a combination of experience and education (Min. 3 years)
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications
• Create a detailed bill of materials from a customer’s description/specification
• Ability to quickly learn and apply technical products
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proven track record of positive performance
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Marketing/social-media advertising experience would be an asset
• Ability to multi-task
• Sense of urgency and accountability is a must
