Territory Account Manager – Shermco Industries

Shermco Canada is a recognized leader in electrical power system testing, maintenance, repair, and engineering services. With continued growth across Canada, we are seeking a Territory Account Manager to expand our footprint in key markets.
Shermco is ISO certified and accredited by leading industry organizations including NETA, ANAB, SKF, and others. As a founding member of NETA, we operate one of the largest and most respected electrical field services teams in the industry.
Responsibilities- Own and grow a territory by selling Shermco’s full suite of electrical testing, maintenance, repair, and engineering services
- Develop new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers
- Target industrial facilities, data centres, hospitals, utilities, and electrical contractors
- Achieve and exceed annual multi-million-dollar sales targets
- Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value opportunities aligned with customer needs
- Lead sales strategies, pricing discussions, and competitive positioning
- Conduct job walks and collaborate closely with engineering and field teams
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and customer presentations
- Act as the primary point of contact from opportunity through order award
- Support lunch‑and‑learns, trade shows, conferences, and industry associations
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline data in CRM
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience in industrial, engineering, or power‑related markets
- Proven ability to sell technical solutions using a consultative approach
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems is an asset, including testing, commissioning, maintenance, or engineering services
- Experience with medium‑ and high‑voltage systems (480V to 345kV) is highly desirable
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑driven, goal‑oriented, and comfortable managing a large territory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 10%–20%
