About The Role

Based out of our Spiritleaf Mcphillips location in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we are looking for an experienced PART TIME Keyholder who can handle curveballs like champs. Not only will they be responsible for ensuring the store is in tip-top shape, but they’ll also become masters in everything cannabis and will be eager to share their new knowledge with our customers. We’re looking for go-getters who love to meet new people and cultivate relationships and are excited to learn more about this industry.

Role And Responsibilities

The Keyholder role includes, but is not limited to:

• Greet customers, engage in meaningful conversations, and build relationships to understand their needs.
• Create a welcoming environment for all store visitors.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and safe/responsible usage.

• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities to promote our culture and brand.
• Work with the Store Manager and team to meet sales targets and provide excellent service.
• Maintain knowledge of cannabis industry legislation, trends, and products.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and a professional environment.
• Handle customer transactions using the POS system, following cash handling and loss prevention protocols.
• Monitor and restock inventory regularly to ensure stock availability.

• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal cannabis laws, including required certifications.
• Support social responsibility programs of Nova Cannabis and provincial regulatory bodies.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Uphold company policies, SOPs, and best practices.

• At least 2 years of customer service and retail/hospitality experience.
• Preferred experience in cannabis, liquor, or healthcare sectors.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications:
  
  Selling It Right (BC), Sell Safe and QCW (AB), CRTP (SK), CRWTP (MB), Cann Sell (ON).
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Knowledge of provincial cannabis regulations and handling requirements.

• Strong customer service skills, positive attitude, charisma.
• Problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Team-oriented, ethical, responsible, and detail-focused.
• Age 18+ (19+ in BC). Reliable transportation required.

• Part-time, in-person position.
• Located at our Winnipeg store.
