Senior Manager - Quality Network - Assurance – National Quality Network role in Canada. This role supports EY assurance professionals across the country in delivering high‑quality audit engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Research and respond to audit methodology questions from all professional staff regarding assurance‑related matters.
- Provide hands‑on formal and informal coaching to a variety of audit teams on various audit‑related topics.
- Keep up‑to‑date by reading literature and attending appropriate educational courses for skill development.
- Interact with members of EY Professional Practice to promote knowledge sharing.
- Self‑starter with strong organizational and project management skills and a very high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive and anticipatory in approach and style.
- Ability to interact confidently with partners and senior leadership across the country.
- Strong work ethics with a developed sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously with little direction.
- Experience in facilitating internal training courses and/or external presentations.
- Minimum 8 years of experience on assurance engagements with varied sizes, complexities, and industries.
- Strong technical background in Global Audit Methodology.
- Strong research, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Completion of the CPA/CA designation.
- High performance rating in Quality.
- Strong PCAOB and ICFR experience.
- Bilingual abilities (English/French) appreciated.
This role is a rotational opportunity (18‑24 months). The salary range for British Columbia is $95,000 to $180,000. The position is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
