Mount Carmel Clinic is a community health centre based in the North End neighbourhood in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
We provide a wide variety of health services in order to address all aspects of a person's wellbeing, including access to quality health care, community resources and family supports, child care, mental health supports, cultural opportunities, and much more.

Description of Duties- Supporting with set up and clean-up of programming space.
- Set up the refreshments area in a neat and organized manner.
- Greet community members and provide information about the event/program space (e.g., bathroom location).
- Support staff by managing smaller group activities, distributing materials, maintaining an engaging environment, and gently encouraging participation.
- Open to working from a place of non‑judgment, open‑mindedness and respect for people of all backgrounds and identities.
- Open to working collaboratively and receiving instruction.
- Cultural appreciation and a willingness to learn and receive teachings.
- Approaching interactions with an open mind and heart.
- Comfortable communicating with people in a friendly and respectful manner.

, volunteer shifts can go towards a monthly top‑up (if approved by your EIA worker).
Age ranges: 16‑17, 18‑30, 31‑54, 55+
Time Commitment:
Daytime
Orientation: 3 to 3.5 hours
Availability:
Minimum 3 shifts per month
Schedule:
Program will run on the same day each week for 8–12 weeks, depending on the program. You will be scheduled to work 2–4 hours to assist with the program. Example:
Wednesday 12pm to 3:30pm, or Friday 10am to 1pm. Once the program is complete, you will have a few weeks off before the next program begins.
Commitment:
Minimum 2 program runs (Total approx 5 months) with option to extend
