Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as Director at Camp Cedarwood, with the option to reside at the Camp or in the city. Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg located at Pinawa Bay, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba that focuses on providing youth with a camp experience that is rooted in the Gospel.

A successful candidate will be passionate about helping others and using their experience, skills, and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth.

Responsibilities include providing leadership to the development and implementation of ministry programs by supporting, equipping, and empowering a team of staff and volunteers to accomplish the mission of Cedarwood; developing and leading a team to manage the five key departments of camp (ministry, property/maintenance, food services, hospitality, and administration); ensuring that the Camp Cedarwood site is properly stewarded and maintained to fulfill its purpose in accomplishing the mission;

working alongside YFC senior leadership while giving oversight and direction to all areas of managing and overseeing camp operations; ensuring YFC’s mission is supported in all areas of camper and guest interactions year round; and actively working to promote and grow the staff and volunteer team at camp.
