Job Description & How to Apply Below
Pitikwé Skatepark is a downtown youth hub serving underserved kids — many of whom are Indigenous — through skateboarding, culture, mentorship, and community. We’re Indigenous-guided, youth-centred, and proudly grassroots.
We’re looking for a Volunteer Bookkeeper to help keep our finances steady and transparent as we grow.
This is not a massive operation — typically 4 staff (up to 12 in summer programming) — and we estimate 5–10 hours per month
.
- Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Prepare clear monthly reports for the Board
- Track grant funds and budget fluctuations
- Organize year-end records for handoff to our accountant
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with nonprofit bookkeeping
- Familiar with tracking grant funding and restricted funds
- Supportive of youth programming and Indigenous-led spaces
- Willing to chip in for a cause that matters
This is a meaningful way to contribute behind the scenes to a vibrant, culture-driven organization that centres youth voice and community strength.
