Job Description
Key Responsibilities:• Preaching & Teaching:
Deliver biblically sound, Gospel-centred, Spirit-led sermons and lead regular Bible studies
• Spiritual Leadership:
Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families, including home and hospital visitations
• Vision & Strategy:
Collaborate with church leadership to develop and implement a clear vision for ministry and growth
• Leadership Development:
Equip and mentor ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers.
• Community Engagement:
Represent Bethel Chapel in the local community and foster outreach initiatives
• Administrative Oversight:
Work alongside the church Board to manage operations, budgets, and ministry planning
Required Skills
• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to personal spiritual disciplines• Strong preaching, teaching, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people of diverse socio-political beliefs
• Proven track record of reliability, integrity and hard work
• Alignment with Bethel Chapel’s statement of faith and the theological distinctives of the PAOC
• A heart for discipleship, evangelism, and community outreach
Education Required
A degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (seminary or Bible College preferred) Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC)Experience Required
