Are you someone with experience in assembly, production or construction environments?

Apply now for this immediate temporary opportunity with a large concrete plant in the West Kildonan Industrial area of Winnipeg. The role allows you to use different skills each day and learn the concrete pipe industry.

This is a diverse, inclusive team environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible, safety oriented and dependable.

The chosen candidate must be able to work in an environment that contains dust and loud noises. Proper PPE will be provided.

Advantages
-$18/hour
-Monday to Friday
-7am-3:30pm
-Weekly pay via direct deposit
-4% vacation pay paid weekly

Responsibilities
-Blending construction materials
-Tying and cutting rebar
-Shoveling materials
-Using power tools
-Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas
-Maintain plant cleanliness

Qualifications
-Previous construction or production experience an asset
-Desire to work cooperatively as part of a team
-Having a vehicle is an asset, the closest bus stop is a ten to fifteen minute walk
-Physically capable of prolonged standing, bending and lifting
-Ability to use power tools such as grinders, sanders etc.
-Steel toed shoes required, all other PPE provided
