Production Manager

The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of designated production departments. This role ensures the efficient execution of production tasks and supports the development of Supervisors within these areas through coaching, guidance, and support. The Production Manager oversees all aspects of production processes including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence through leadership, hands‑on approach, and commitment to high‑quality standards.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

Workplace Safety Oversight & Compliance
  • Conduct regular safety audits and Gemba Walks.
  • Promote active engagement in safe work practices.
  • Foster accountability by upholding established standards and practices.
  • Ensure attendance of team(s) in required safety training courses.
  • Participate in incident reporting, investigations and follow up actions.
Quality Excellence & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Address quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure timely responses to audit findings, opportunities for improvement (OFIs), and corrective actions.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop supervisors and production teams.
