Reports to: Packaging and Sanitation Supervisor

Position Summary: As a sanitation technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Your primary goal is to ensure a safe and hygienic environment by effectively cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, handling waste materials, and following established protocols and regulations. You play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site sanitation activities
• Comply with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs)
• Complete documentation for record-keeping
• Collaborate to improve sanitation procedures and programs
• Troubleshoot sanitation-related quality issues and liaise with operations for corrective actions
• Report issues or concerns to the Sanitation Shift Lead
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required
• Prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe work environment
• Report safety hazards to supervisors
• Maintain accurate records of tasks performed
• Perform other duties as assigned
