Location:

Winnipeg, MB R3E 2R9, On site

Salary: $35.39 hourly (35–40 hours per week)

Terms of employment:
Permanent, Full time, Starting as soon as possible

Schedule:

Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

Responsibilities
  • Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Move and align subassemblies and components
  • Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
  • Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards
  • Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
  • Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators
  • Disassemble defective units and repair or replace suspect parts
Qualifications

Experience:

1 to less than 2 years

Education:

Secondary (high school) graduation certificate

Equipment and machinery experience:
Hydraulic components

Physical requirements:

Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail
