ODRA is a manufacturer of premium road maintenance equipment. Offering a versatile range of street sweepers that are easy to operate and maintain, our products are sold in North America and internationally. With a new 17,000‑square‑foot expansion, we are growing our space, product line, and staff! ODRA is a small company with a casual environment and friendly people.

Job Summary

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical and electronic components in industrial systems. This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure all products are built and tested per documented procedures
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet company quality standards
  • Assist with the assembly and installation of electronic components in industrial systems
  • Assist with the assembly and installation of hydraulic systems
  • Install and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnesses
  • Troubleshoot and conduct functional testing of electronic and electrical systems
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications & Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to use common shop tools
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Overhead crane and forklift training an asset (training provided if needed)
  • Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
