**** Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking Mechanical Maintenance Students to join the Dryden Team for a summer co-op term*
* ** from approximately May to September 2026.*
* ** The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes****.
**** Responsibilities of a Mechanical Maintenance Co-op Summer Student include working with Mechanical tradespeople to:
*** Perform mechanical repairs to machinery and plant support systems, including rotating and stationary equipment.
* Work with preventative maintenance programs and keep proper maintenance records.
* Work with a wide array of precision tools, including computerized alignment equipment.
** An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:
*** You will
** currently be enrolled in in a two (2) or three (3) year College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician or its equivalent.
*** Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills.
* Demonstrate applied mechanical ability.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
* Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
* A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
