Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. (CAC) is seeking an accomplished and visionary
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)to lead the financial strategy and operational expansion of our corporation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping CAC’s strategic direction, overseeing financial operations, investor relations, and driving business development.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in world-class expedition and adventure charters, luxury yachting, scientific research, and large-scale marine operations. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of structuring CAC as a
publicly traded corporation
while driving profitability and international expansion.

The CFO will spearhead the development ofa state-of-the-art research explorer expedition platform
, a
thrill-seeking adventure charter experience for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI), and an
online brand, booking platform, and shopping center
. Additionally, they will play a key role in promoting
Newfoundland & Labrador, the Northwest Passage, Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Canada’s Arctic regions, Greenland, Iceland, and other international destinations
as premier luxury yachting destinations, supporting
expedition tourism, submersible dive expeditions, treasure and shipwreck recovery, underwater documentary production, and climate change research
.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the
Board of Directors
of Canadian Adventure Charters Inc.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Financial Oversight

  • Define and execute CAC’s
    financial and strategic vision
    in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop and manage
    financial models and portfolios ranging from $500M to $10B
    .
  • Ensure
    fiscal sustainability
    , implementing
    long-term profit expansion initiatives
    .
  • Lead
    financial planning, forecasting, risk management, and investor relations
    .
  • Structure CAC for public trading
    and establish
    partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
    .
  • Drive the execution of CAC’s
    mission, vision, and financial expansion
    .

Business Development & Operations Management

  • Develop
    world-class expedition, adventure, and marine operations
    , including
    private superyachts, scientific research vessels, and treasure recovery missions
    .
  • Establish CAC as a leader in
    luxury charter destinations, marine tourism, and deep-sea exploration
    .
  • Oversee the design and construction of
    mega-resort developments
    , including
    research centers, aquariums, theme restaurants, resort hotels, and marinas
    .
  • Manage relationships with
    government agencies, investors, financial institutions, and insurers
    .
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as
    Transport Canada, DNV, Parks Canada, DFO, and First Nation & Innu Nation Governments
    .
  • Develop and implement
    corporate governance policies
    and
    strategic planning initiatives
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    legal, ethical, and financial regulations
    while maintaining transparency.
  • Lead
    mergers, acquisitions, and corporate integrations
    to drive expansion and profitability.
  • Prepare and present
    financial reports, forecasts, and investment strategies
    to the Board.

Stakeholder Relations & Community Engagement

  • Cultivate relationships with
    UHNWI clients, luxury charter companies, brokers, government entities, and global research institutions
    .
  • Advocate for CAC’s presence in
    expedition-based tourism, scientific research, and environmental initiatives
    .
  • Develop strategic partnerships with
    private and public entities
    to support CAC’s vision.
  • Support
    corporate social responsibility efforts
    and
    emergency preparedness planning
    .
  • Foster a
    high-performance corporate culture
    through effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a
    highly skilled workforce
    in alignment with CAC’s growth objectives.
  • Establish
    remuneration policies and performance-based incentives
    .
  • Fluent in
    English
    , with proficiency in
    at least three
    of the following languages:
    French, German, Polish, Spanish, Mandarin, Norwegian, Arabic, Russian
    .
  • Exceptional business writing and communication skills for
    investor relations, branding, and stakeholder engagement
    .

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • University degree
    in a related field such as
    Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
