The opportunityThe opportunity: Standardized Patient Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and recruiting of Standardized Patient Actors (SPs), advertising and promoting employment opportunities within the Standardized Patient Program, maintaining a program presence in the community, managing a pool of 500+ casual SP actors, and maintaining regular communication with the casual SP actors. This position will collaborate with the Business Manager, Resource Management Lead, SP Education Lead, SP Trainers and CLSP staff and will be the first line of communication with SPs and will assist in scheduling SPs for events.
They will provide organization and supervision of SPs during high stakes exams. This position will also participate in communicating the availability and awareness of the CLSP in general.
- Completion of a formal training program in business administration, marketing, or human resources from a recognized institute plus four years of directly related experience is required.
- Related undergraduate degree, certificate or diploma in business administration, marketing, or human resources preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of internal and external contacts, required.
- Ability to effectively communicate, work, and develop meaningful relationships with diverse groups, required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide advice and develop and present information and written materials, required.
- High degree of computer proficiency, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in a diplomatic, firm but tactful manner, required.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and establish work priorities and deadlines, with minimal supervision, required.
- Ability to make sound independent judgments and utilize problem solving skills, required.
- Ability to set goals and meet deadlines under pressure with changing priorities, required.
- Ability to respond quickly, adapt working plans, and demonstrate flexibility in response to change, required.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible schedule based on program needs, required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (email, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
