Job Title: ERP System Administrator – Oracle Fusion ERP & SCM

Location: 100% Remote in Canada

Contract Type: 3-6 months (contract-to-hire)

The ERP System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM environments. This role ensures operational continuity, system security, and data integrity across integrated platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Working closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders, the administrator manages system access, supports quarterly patch cycles, resolves incidents, and enables continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities System Administration & Security
  • Administer user provisioning, role assignments, and security policies within Oracle Fusion.
  • Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) compliance.
  • Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability and stability.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and enforce audit, compliance, and data privacy controls.
  • Serve as the primary owner of system governance, access control, and change management processes.
Patch & Release Management
  • Coordinate and support Oracle’s quarterly patch testing and deployment cycles.
  • Develop and maintain regression test plans, validation scripts, and deployment documentation.
  • Manage and maintain environments (PROD, TEST, DEV, Sandbox), including refreshes, cloning, migrations, and regression planning.
Operational Support
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for service tickets related to Oracle Fusion ERP and SCM.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues escalated by business users.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine operations and incident handling.
  • Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) end-to-end, including documentation, coordination with Oracle Support, and resolution follow-through.
Integrations & Enhancements
  • Monitor OIC integrations and assist with troubleshooting interface errors and failures.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and interface changes across OCI and OIC platforms.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for complex fixes, upgrades, and enhancements.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance
  • Establish and monitor system health checks, alerting, and escalation procedures.
  • Monitor scheduled processes, workflows, integrations, and performance metrics; perform root-cause analysis as needed.
  • Track and report KPIs related to system uptime, issue resolution, and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain system inventories, configuration documentation, audit logs, and internal controls.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with data security, SoD, and audit requirements.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP and/or SCM modules preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion security architecture and RBAC.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle’s quarterly patching process and the OIC/OCI ecosystem.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise IT change management, regression testing, and incident management.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as Service Now is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage escalations effectively, and work with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related productivity tools.
