"GWPolicy Center Solution Analyst Onsite mostly working in the PC product pricing configuration space
Job Description
Commercial PC Insurance Functional SME with Guidewire Policy Center knowledge At least - years of industry experience with expertise in defining requirements for Policy Center implementation Knowledge of Product Model and challenges with various integrations is a must Candidates with understanding of small commercial package products is preferred
Skills Required
Post secondary degree in data management computer science engineering or related discipline
years experience in insurance industry
years experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite Policy Center
Strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages relational databases message queues web services and legacy systems
Strong insurance domain knowledge eg Underwriting Policy Administration Pricing Claims etc and good grasp of information technology domains BIDW Data Modeling ETL RBDMS Hadoop etc
Strong analytical and data mining skills able to readwrite complex SQL queries to analyze data investigate defects validate data quality etc
Excellent analysis and problemsolving skills with proven ability to handle large amounts of data to draw out insights relationships and patterns
Deep experience with systems analysis and translating business requirements into functional specifications and nonfunctional requirements
Strong communication skills verbal and written and able to explain complex concepts issues in simple terms
Proven track record of creating clear concise documentation that reflects a deep understanding of business and systems processes data flows etc
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ownership accountability to deliver with minimal supervision
Detail oriented and delivery focused with ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts business models and technologies
Familiarity with data management framework and/or best practices DAMA Mike
MDM knowledge and experience is an asset
Handson experience working on agile projects
Proficiency with MSOffice applications Visio PowerPoint Word Excel"
