Position: Senior SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Functional Consultant – Application Support for a complex industrial

SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant (AMS Support)

We are seeking a senior-level SAP S/4

HANA PP (Production Planning – Make-to-Deliver) Functional Consultant to support a complex industrial manufacturing environment under a structured AMS delivery model.

The consultant will provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, service request management, and minor enhancements within a live S/4

HANA landscape.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in SAP PP within manufacturing environments and be comfortable working in a ticket-driven support model.

Work Mode:
Remote

On-Call Requirement:
Yes – P1 / P2 Support

Duration - 6 months plus extension

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP S/4

    HANA PP (MTD processes)
  • Manage and resolve:
  • Production incidents
  • Service requests
  • Minor system enhancements
  • Support and optimize:
  • MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • Production orders
  • BOMs (Bills of Materials)
  • Routings & work centers
  • Capacity planning
  • Shop floor execution
  • Troubleshoot integration points between PP and:
  • MM (Materials Management)
  • SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
  • FI/CO
  • Perform root cause analysis for production issues
  • Prepare functional specifications for minor RICEFW enhancements
  • Ensure master data alignment and process integrity
  • Participate in SLA-driven support model
  • Collaborate with technical teams for defect fixes and transports
  • Document solutions and support knowledge transfer

    • Must Haves

  • 5+ years of strong SAP PP functional experience
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4

    HANA PP (Make-to-Deliver / Manufacturing processes)
  • Experience in complex industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Proven background in AMS / Application Support models
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
  • Excellent understanding of cross-module integration
  • Ability to work independently in a structured support environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
