About the ProjectShared Healths Digital Health initiative is transforming healthcare delivery across Manitoba through innovative information and communication technologies. The focus is on improving healthcare processes, enabling efficient information management, and supporting clinical and administrative stakeholders province-wide.
Role OverviewWe are seeking senior Business Analysts with deep healthcare and EHR implementation experience. The role involves analyzing business processes, identifying capability gaps, facilitating workshops with clinical stakeholders, and supporting large-scale healthcare technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business analysis activities across complex healthcare projects.
- Document current and future state business processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate requirements sessions and workshops with clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Support implementation of EHR systems and clinical applications, including Altera Sunrise suite
. - Plan and deploy technical devices and infrastructure for EHR implementation in clinical environments.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and PHIA regulations when handling Personal Health Information (PHI).
- Prosci (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification (proof required).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a business analysis role, with examples of leading and documenting complex processes.
- Minimum 10 years implementing healthcare projects, including facilitation with clinical stakeholders and at least one large-scale acute care implementation.
- Minimum 5 years implementing Altera Sunrise suite in clinical environments (2+ project examples).
- Minimum 5 years implementing EHR systems
, mapping requirements to configurations, with at least one deployment across multiple hospitals. - Minimum 3 years experience deploying technical devices, workstations, printers, and infrastructure as part of EHR implementations.
- Strong healthcare domain knowledge and understanding of clinical workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong process documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with project teams.
This is a full-time, remote Canadian opportunity for experienced healthcare business analysts with a strong track record in EHR and Altera Sunrise implementations.
