Position Title:

Senior Technical BASIS Lead

Location:

On-site – 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg

Government Experience Requirement:  Minimum 4 years

Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the Senior Technical BASIS Lead will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of SAP environments. The role ensures system stability, performance, and security, while providing leadership and direction to a team of SAP BASIS administrators.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Education

Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience

12 years  of experience in business analysis, system analysis, and solution architecture of complex information systems.

12 years  of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration with strong technical expertise.

12+ years  of experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.

12+ years  of experience with databases such as Sybase/ASE.

12+ years  of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Experience working in large-scale ERP programs.

Experience working in the Public Sector (minimum 4 years of Government experience required).

Experience with project management methodologies.

Proven leadership experience managing direct reports and technical teams.

Experience in preparing written reports and status updates on program progress.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders and team members.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
