Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiology Technologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures, with a primary focus on exercise stress testing. This role is integral in assisting physicians in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Operate electrocardiogram (ECG) and other diagnostic equipment to record patients’ cardiac activity.
  • Conduct exercise stress tests to evaluate patients’ cardiovascular responses under supervised conditions.
  • Monitor and assess cardiac activity during procedures, providing preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort through diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate cardiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document test results accurately and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Stay updated with advancements in cardiology, diagnostic techniques and equipment.
You Have
  • Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology program (1 to 2 years) from a college or CEGEP.
  • Registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) or eligibility to obtain registration.
  • Proficiency in operating ECG equipment and conducting exercise stress tests.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast‑paced clinical environments.
