Position Overview Experience- Minimum of three years geriatric and /or mental health experience required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in a relevant health care profession from an approved Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated. Relevant health care related Master’s degree preferred.
- Must successfully complete individualized self-directed geriatric training provided through the program to each clinician in order to independently complete a comprehensive geriatric mental health assessment.
- Current registration/licensure with a Manitoba Health care professional licensing body (CRNM, COTM, MCSW).
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a vehicle required.

- Ability to establish good interpersonal relationships with clients and health care professionals
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
