Investment Specialist - 12 months at Canada Life (Temporary Full Time)

• Full scrubbing of received applications ensuring SLAs are met.
• Communicate with advisors to obtain missing information and signatures required on investment applications.
• Enter applications into the Wealth Serv system.
• Ensure adherence to processes to mitigate required LOI’s.
• Email wire order confirmation for application submission.
• Complete transactions and trades on the Wealth Serv system.
• Follow up on transfers and ensure current data is captured in the Wealth Serv system.
• Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests.
• Work extensively with back‑office systems, Wealth Serv, and insurance carrier websites.
• Perform work with latitude to decide when and how to complete tasks.
• Deliver results that directly contribute to team performance.
• May occasionally assist other employees by providing information.

• Specialized knowledge of investment products, specifically Segregated Funds.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Wealth Serv is an asset.
• Completion of Post‑Secondary School or equivalent.

Base salary: $45,600 - $68,400 annually (excluding bonus and commission). Locations:
Edmonton, Saskatoon, Vancouver, or Winnipeg.
