The Bell Tower Community Café is bringing people together from West Broadway, Wolseley and across Winnipeg. We're a Friday night coffee house (bi-weekly) where people from all walks of life are making good things together: free eats, free coffee & tea, free live music, and free food hampers for people in the neighbourhood.

Description of Duties:
Bell Tower Community Cafe is a free community coffee house that serves meals and provides a welcoming space for the West Broadway / Wolseley community. We've been serving the community since 2013, and we're looking for musicians to volunteer their time and talent to play at our events, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Performances are held on a stage on the second floor of 745 Westminster Avenue from mid-September until mid-June, and outside on the lawn during the summer months. We can provide a sound system and microphones for performances.
Skills Required:
Musical talent (e.g. singing, playing an instrument). All styles are welcome, but please be mindful that this is a community event with a diverse audience.
Skills Gained/Related Careers:
Develop meaningful relationships with our community, gain experience playing for a diverse audience.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment:
Evening
Varies, but typically 1 hour per event (music starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs for about 45 minutes). We run events every second Friday, but musician volunteers are not required to commit to every event.
