You will play an important role in a dynamic and passionate team, collaborating on a variety of projects of all sizes and scopes in the environment, renewable energies, hydroelectricity, transportation, materials, buildings and climate change markets. Position FocusThe position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required.
Your Main Responsibilities- Assist in planning and designing automation and control systems, including electrical and instrumentation components.
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation software and hardware systems to meet project requirements.
- Participate in system testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to support project deliverables.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Provide on-site assistance for maintenance and commissioning tasks, including occasional travel to client locations.
- Support industrial networking and cybersecurity measures to ensure secure and reliable system operations.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
- Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
- Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
- Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
- Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
