Multicrete Contracting Inc., headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a leader in the mining, civil, and concrete industries, and we are looking to expand by adding a new key member to our operations team at head office. The company maintains high standards of integrity and service, and these values continue to drive success in the mining and construction industries.
Responsibilities and Duties- Define scope of work and deliverables;
- Assist the estimating team with completing RFQ and RFP packages as required;
- Conduct site visits as required;
- Review and administer contracts;
- Manage all stakeholder relationships, ensuring projects meet or exceed expectations;
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses by working with authorities having jurisdiction;
- Provide oversight and leadership to project resources on site (e.g., labour, materials, and equipment);
- Manage all subcontractor relationships on assigned projects;
- Act as technical liaison between the client and company.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Management role in a heavy civil, industrial, or mining setting;
- College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or degree in Construction Management (a combination of education and experience will be considered);
- Designation of P. Eng or PQS is an asset;
- Experience with projects underground is an asset;
- Proven track record in project financial reporting and management;
- Highly effective negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills;
- Experience in project delivery methodologies;
- Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings, purchase orders, and contracts;
- Proven track record in safety leadership with familiarity in current health and safety standards;
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs, including MS Project;
- Excellent problem‑solving, verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads while thriving in a fast‑paced environment;
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
This role will involve travel to rural project sites.
