**** Hourly Rate: $27.47-$34.98****(multiple vacancies)
**** Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking Power Engineering students to become part of our Power & Recovery department for Summer 2026.*
* ** The work term will be from approximately May to September 2026. The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.
**** Responsibilities of a Power & Recovery Summer Student:
*** Inspecting, reporting on, lubricating, and cleaning systems such as bark and ash handling systems.
* General housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Shift Engineer.
* Shift work, evenings and weekends are required.
** An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:**
* ** Currently enrolled
** in a college
** Power Engineering Technician Program
** or its
** equivalent**.
* Will
** have completed a minimum of Fourth-Class
** modules towards an Operating Engineers certification.
* A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
* A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
