Automation Professional

The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required.

Mandatory Qualifications are as follows:

• Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware.
• Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks.
• Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support.
• Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.

Preference will be placed for candidates that also have the following qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
• Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
• Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
• Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Minimum two years combined experience in related positions to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
