**** Dryden Fibre Canada is currently accepting applications for an Electrical Engineering Summer Student from approximately May to September 2026. The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.
**** Responsibilities of an Electrical Engineering Summer Student:
*** Working within a team environment and reporting to a member of the Engineering Team, you will be working with an Electrical Engineer in your summer work term.
* You will be involved in a variety of capital and maintenance projects from concept to operating installation.
* You will learn site safety procedures, work systems, project systems, administrative procedures, and resources.  A mentor will provide peer level support, direction, and coaching.
** An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:**
* ** Currently be enrolled in 3rd or 4th year
** in an Electrical Engineering degree program.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills.
* Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
* A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
* Excellent computer skills as well as the ability to pick up on maintenance systems quickly.
