The successful candidate should in addition to a
valid Manitoba Teacher’s Certificate:
Have a Bachelor of Kinesiology or a Bachelor of Physical Education (a teachable or minor in these areas could be considered)Have knowledge and understanding of the relevant area(s) of the Manitoba Physical Education and Health Education curriculumHave the ability to coordinate, and a passion for, intramural, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programmingCreate a safe, caring, and purposeful learning environmentHave knowledge and understanding of physical literacy development models and assessment strategiesChampion physical activity as part of a healthy active lifestyleSuccessfully embed technology into Physical Education and Health that supports student engagement and learning
