term position teaching Grade 7/8 at École Parkside School. Parkside is a grade 7-8 junior high school with 190 students located in Altona, Manitoba. This term position will commence December 2 2025 and conclude June 30 2026, with the possibility of an extension into the 26/27 school year. Subjects to be taught include:
Homeroom, Grade 7/8 Math, Grade 7/8 Social Studies, and other subjects based on the strengths of the candidate. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to foster an inclusive classroom that meets the needs of a wide variety of learners through adaptations, modifications, and extended learning opportunities. Candidates should have knowledge of current educational trends and student‑centered learning approaches along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
and Experience
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Experience in Middle Years is considered an asset
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the Provincial Teachers’ Collective Agreement between Manitoba School Boards Association and Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
