Engagement & Events Coordinator

About Us

We are a growing, performance-based music lessons school that offers programs for children, teens, and adults. We focus on live experiences, student engagement, and community involvement through music. We are expanding several internal programs and are looking for a people-focused, confident communicator to support events, outreach, and community initiatives.

This role will help support events, student programs, and community partnerships. This role works closely with families, instructors, students, and schools to help deliver engaging experiences and represent the organization professionally. Some aspects of this role are public-facing, and additional responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.

• Community & Event Support
  • Assist with live events, performances, and special programs
  • Support on-site coordination and guest experience
  • Act as a friendly, professional point of contact at events
• Student & Family Interaction
  • Engage with students and parents in a positive, encouraging manner
  • Assist with short conversations and interactions during events
  • Help create a welcoming environment for families
  • Support outreach to schools and community organizations
  • Assist with booking and coordination of in-school programs
  • Maintain professional communication with partners
• Content Capture/Creation
  • Capture photos and short videos at events
  • Document performances and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Deliver content internally for marketing and archiving

• Confident, personable, and comfortable speaking with groups
• Enjoys working with children, families, and educators
• Organized, reliable, and professional
• Comfortable being on camera or speaking in public settings
• Interest in music, education, or community-based programs

(Formal media or teaching experience preferred)

• Competitive hourly or per-event pay (based on experience)
