Border Valley School is a K-8 school located in a rural setting, a short 20-minute drive south of the City of Winkler. The school serves a number of smaller communities and rural homes in the surrounding area. Border Valley has a student population of approximately 115 students, a teaching staff of 11 and a support staff of 10. The size of the school community allows staff to provide strong academic programming while building positive student relationships.

The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Garden Valley School Division and the Garden Valley Teachers' Association.
