The Region is seeking qualified physicians to provide care in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department, with remuneration based on the provincial Physician Services Agreement.

Shifts vary over a six‑week period covering days, afternoons, evenings and nights; a contract will be provided.

• FRCPC or equivalent, or Family Medicine Enhanced Skills in Emergency Medicine certificate

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The IERHA is looking for an Emergency Physician to join its medical team in a busy ED. Selkirk Regional Hospital has 42 Medicine/Palliative Care beds, 8 Medicine/Surgery/Long-Term Care beds, 15 General Surgery beds, 8 Gynecology/Labour and Delivery beds, 4 Critical Care beds, a Community Cancer program, Dialysis, Rehab Services, an Outpatient Centre and laboratory services and diagnostic imaging including MRI.

Selkirk is a city in Manitoba, approximately 22 km northeast of Winnipeg, on the Red River.
