Position: Everyday Banking Representative

Everyday Banking Representative role at TEKsystems, a client of a Big 5 Bank.

12 weeks on-site training, shift from 1 PM to 9 PM. Contract position based in Winnipeg, MB.

Responsibilities
  • Receive 40‑60 inbound calls per shift.
  • Handle day‑to‑day banking inquiries: account openings, password changes, credit‑card charge inquiries.
  • Respond empathetically and resolve client concerns at the first point of contact.
  • Support colleagues to meet client needs and contribute to team results.
  • Maintain relationships with partners and work as one team.
  • Adhere to compliance routines, processes, and controls to manage risk.
  • Educate clients on using the bank’s digital capabilities.
Requirements (Must Haves)
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • 6 + months of recent call‑centre or phone‑based customer service experience, handling 40+ calls per day.
  • Flexibility to work shift work, including weekends.
  • Ability to work onsite for 12 weeks and subsequently on a hybrid schedule (1 day in office per week).
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships, preferably in finance or service industry.
Soft Skills
  • Independent work ethic with strong time management, organization and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional client‑service capability and confidence engaging clients across multiple channels (phone, video, etc.) in a friendly, positive, professional tone.
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) with above‑average keyboarding, internet and computer navigation skills.
  • Interest in mobile and digital devices and ability to help clients navigate self‑serve applications.
  • Passionate and curious about building exceptional client experiences and solving client concerns.

Contract position based out of Winnipeg, MB.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay $24.00 – $25.00 /hr.

Workplace Type

Hybrid: 1 day in office per week after onsite training.
