The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are seeking a creative and detail-oriented videographer to join the Creative and Content department. This role is responsible for producing a wide range of video content that supports the Blue Bombers brand across social media, digital platforms, in-stadium entertainment, and other channels. Working under the direction of the Senior Manager, Creative Content, the videographer will guide projects from concept through final delivery, while shooting, editing, and collaborating with the wider creative team to produce compelling, high-quality content that engages fans and strengthens the Blue Bombers brand.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Produce, shoot, and edit a wide range of video content, including social, features, digital series, in-stadium pieces, sponsor content, and internal projects.
- Develop and pitch original creative concepts that support the team’s brand strategy and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Social, Game Presentation, Audio, Design, and Photography teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and a consistent brand voice.
- Plan, schedule, and execute production shoots, operating cameras, lighting, audio, and other essential gear both on-site and in-studio.
- Edit projects with strong storytelling, pacing, music selection, and graphics integration, while maintaining organized media archives and asset management systems.
- Support real-time content needs on gamedays, practices, and events; stay current on video trends; and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in film, Video Production, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of experience producing and editing video content, ideally in sports or entertainment, with a portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling and varied styles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; experience with professional camera and production equipment.
- Understanding of platform‑specific content needs across X, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and in‑venue video environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days.
- Passion for football and familiarity with the CFL preferred.
