We’re looking for a Construction Manager in the residential and mixed-use development industry.
Our client is an established and fast-growing real estate development firm based in Winnipeg. With multiple residential and commercial projects in the pipeline, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a key role within a company poised for significant growth.
Construction Manager responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across active construction sitesManage subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnelDevelop and maintain detailed construction schedules and progress reportsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standardsConduct regular site inspections and enforce health and safety protocolsReview blueprints and technical documents to guide construction executionIdentify and resolve delays or issues impacting timelines or budgetsCoordinate with internal departments to align construction with design and financial goalsMonitor project budgets and resource allocationMaintain accurate documentation and assist with permit and inspection processesRecruit, train, and lead site supervisors and junior staffThe successful candidate has:
5+ years of experience in a site supervisor role, ideally within residential or mixed-use developmentStrong leadership and organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing teams and timelinesIn-depth knowledge of Manitoba construction standards, codes, and permitting processesProficiency in construction management softwareExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsValid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicleCompensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experienceCandidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be consideredVehicle allowance and comprehensive benefits packageCandidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
