Responsibilities- Coordinate and assign daily tasks for concrete and general construction crews
- Plan and create schedules for workers
- Ensure the project is adequately staffed and that crew members are trained and prepared
- Oversee quality of concrete work, formwork, placement, and finishing, to meet project specifications and quality standards
- Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and communicate updates to supervisors
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, building codes, while addressing and resolving workplace conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Identify, assess, and mitigate jobsite risks and hazards
- Lead daily toolbox meetings to ensure employees and subcontractors clearly understand scope, safety expectations, and daily objectives
- Maintain accurate site documentation as required
- Foster a positive, productive team culture and mentor crew members to support skill development and career growth
- Red Seal Carpenter Certification or equivalent industry experience
- Extensive experience in commercial construction, including concrete work
- Proven leadership experience leading construction crews
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Willingness and ability to travel and work in remote locations
